Refund Policy

At Bori, we strive to deliver high-quality Puerto Rican food and excellent customer service. Due to the nature of our products, we have established the following refund policy:

2. Order Issues: If there is a problem with your order (e.g., incorrect item, missing item, or quality concern), please notify us immediately: If on-site: Inform a staff member before leaving the truck. If off-site (for pickups or deliveries): Contact us within 1 hour of receiving your order with a photo and description of the issue. We will evaluate the situation and, at our discretion, may offer a replacement item or credit for a future purchase. Refunds will only be considered in exceptional cases.

3. Cancellations (Catering or Pre-orders): Catering orders for party under 50 guest must be canceled at least 72 hours in advance for a full refund, party above 50 guest must be canceled (1) week in advance for a full refund. If cancelations are made after said time frame  the cancelation is non-refundable due to the cost of ingredients and preparation time.

Weather Policy for Catered Events

At Bori, the safety of our staff, clients, and equipment is our top priority. Due to the unpredictable nature of weather, the following policy applies to all outdoor catering events:

1. Severe Weather Conditions: In the event of thunderstorms, heavy rain, high winds, snow, or any conditions deemed unsafe, Bori reserves the right to delay, reschedule, relocate, or cancel the catering service for safety reasons.

2. Client Notification: We will communicate with the client at least 24 hours in advance if severe weather is forecasted. In cases of sudden weather changes, we will notify the client as soon as possible.

3. Relocation: If an indoor or sheltered backup location is available, we will do our best to accommodate the event at the new location. Additional fees may apply depending on the logistics.

4. Rescheduling: If the event must be postponed due to weather, we will work with the client to reschedule the catering service. The deposit will be applied to the new date if rescheduled within 15 days.

5. Cancellations Due to Weather: If rescheduling is not possible, cancellations made by Bori due to weather will receive a full refund of the deposit. If the client cancels within 24 hours of the event due to weather concerns and no relocation is arranged, the deposit is non-refundable.

6. Equipment & Setup: For outdoor events, the client is responsible for ensuring a flat, accessible surface for setup and a clear path for trailer/truck access. If conditions are unsafe for setup (e.g., mud, flooding, steep incline), we may be unable to proceed.
